Don't be fooled by the title...this article isn't the easiest read but it is an interesting article on how China's (re: socialist) government is subsidizing the 'green' revolution (reflecting on the manufacturing and industry research specifically). Although some points are a bit of a stretch (re: forced prisoner organ donation) or unsubstantiated, the general point that the US government ('for the people, by the people') isn't subsidizing the most important industry of our generation is delivered loud and clear.
Doesn't it seem odd that the most vocal 'anti-socialists' (e.g. Tea Party, uber-Conservative, uber-wealthy, etc) rake in a vast majority of their money from uber-Socialist countries? Shouldn't they put their money where their mouths are and not support socialist countries (e.g. China) by getting all of their manufacturing done because it is 'cheaper' and 'more profitable'?
Disgusting.
